Not that we were ungrateful (far from it!), but it was an unwanted Christmas gift in a big box, taking up space in an already crowded house that was the inspiration behind NotBeenUsed.com.

Having watched this box gather dust for a few years we thought, surely somebody would buy it, and use it!! It was still in its original packaging and we were happy to sell it on for much less than the RRP.

We didn’t want to have to get up early for car boot sales, and after a few negative experiences, auction sites had lost their appeal. BUT. We couldn’t find a web site that focused on brand new, unused items.

So it was time to bring NotBeenUsed.com to life.

NotBeenUsed.com is a bit like placing a classified ad in the local paper, except your advert stays live until the items are sold (or until you choose to withdraw the items from sale) and you cover the whole of the UK. Not just the area served by the local press.

So there is no auction process, the advert doesn’t “expire” after a set number of days, and the items are sold for the price you advertise them for. Your buyers get brand new, boxed items delivered to their door for a fraction of the RRP.
